Ring Size Guide

Finding the perfect fit for your Ceylon gemstone ring

At Ceylon Gem Vault, we want every ring to feel as precious as the gemstone it carries. Getting your ring size right ensures lasting comfort and security – whether you’re choosing a sapphire solitaire, a ruby cocktail ring, or a timeless engagement piece.

How to Find Your Ring Size

There are two simple methods you can use from the comfort of home.

Method 1 - Measure Your Finger

Place a ring that fits you well on a flat surface. Using a ruler, measure the inner diameter across the widest point in millimeters. Match to the chart below for your size. Even a few millimeters make a difference – so measure carefully.

Step 1: Wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of your finger, leaving enough room to slide comfortably over your knuckle.

Step 2: Mark where the paper meets and measure the length in millimeters with a ruler. This is your finger’s circumference.

Step 3: Match your measurement to the size chart below. If you fall between two sizes, always choose the larger size.

Method 2 - Measure an Existing Ring

Place a ring that fits you well on a flat surface. Using a ruler, measure the inner diameter across the widest point in millimeters. Match to the chart below for your size. Even a few millimeters make a difference – so measure carefully.

Ring Sizing Tips

Fingers change throughout the day. Measure in the evening when fingers are at their largest. Cold weather shrinks fingers; heat and humidity can cause slight swelling.

Your dominant hand runs slightly larger. Always measure the specific finger you plan to wear the ring on.

Wide bands fit tighter. For rings wider than 6mm, go half a size up for comfort.

Between sizes? Size up. It’s always easier to resize slightly down than to stretch a ring.
